FULL DESCRIPTION

About Mous

We are Mous. (Pronounced mouse, not moose.) People deserve tech and lifestyle products that are fit for purpose, perform as promised, and empower them to be their best. That’s why we’re building the go-to brand for products that genuinely deliver.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Digital Experience Manager to take ownership of one of our most critical growth levers, the Mous website.

About You

Ideally with 3-5 years experience in a similar Ecommerce role, you are commercially driven, analytically sharp, and genuinely curious about how customers behave and convert online. You don’t just run tests, you build strong hypotheses, challenge assumptions, and deliver measurable impact.

Digital Experience Manager

We’re looking for a Digital Experience Manager to take ownership of one of our most critical growth levers, the Mous website.

Our website is our most important commercial asset. It’s where the majority of our direct revenue is won or lost, and where customers form their strongest impression of our brand. In this role, you’ll own the full digital experience layer, from UX and CRO to experimentation and personalisation, playing a key role in shaping how customers move through the site and ultimately converting that into measurable business impact.

You’ll be responsible for identifying friction points across the customer journey, understanding where and why users drop off, and designing high-impact experiments to improve performance. From hypothesis through to execution and analysis, you’ll build and run a structured experimentation roadmap that directly drives revenue.

This is not a support role. You’ll set the agenda, define the strategy, and take full ownership of outcomes while working closely with Development, Design, Trading, and Retention to bring ideas to life!

Ideally with 3-5 years experience in a similar Ecommerce role, you are commercially driven, analytically sharp, and genuinely curious about how customers behave and convert online. You don’t just run tests, you build strong hypotheses, challenge assumptions, and deliver measurable impact.

You thrive in high-ownership environments and want to set the agenda, not just follow it. You’re confident working cross-functionally, influencing stakeholders, and driving change at pace.

You’re motivated by performance and seeing your ideas go live on a high-traffic, revenue-generating site, learning fast, while continuously improving results. At Mous, you’ll be operating at the heart of a fast-growing, product led DTC brand, with the autonomy, tools, and momentum to make a real impact from day one.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the UX/UI vision for the website
  • Take ownership of customer journeys across the site, creating & managing CRO, and personalisation roadmaps
  • Generate and test hypotheses
  • Diagnose drop-off using analytics software (GA4, Contentsquare & Shopify)
  • Write dev & design briefs, working closely with other teams across the business to deliver on initiatives
  • Track outcomes against CVR, AOV, and Core Web Vitals targets

Skills requirements:

Hard skills:

  • Proven track record running structured A/B and multivariate experiments
  • Strong command of web analytics and behavioural data tools – GA4, Contentsquare (heatmaps, session recordings, journey analysis), and Shopify analytics
  • Experience owning CRO and UX roadmaps end-to-end: prioritisation, brief writing, QA, and results interpretation
  • Ability to write clear, well-scoped briefs for development and design teams
  • Commercial numeracy: thinks in CVR, AOV, and LTV, not just UX best practice

Soft skills:

  • Entrepreneurial, ownership-driven mindset: identifies opportunities and moves without waiting to be directed
  • Genuine intellectual curiosity about why customers behave the way they do online
  • Precision in communication: translates complex data into a clear narrative and confident recommendations
  • Resilient and self sufficient: comfortable operating in a fast-moving, small team
  • Collaborative and direct: builds trust quickly with developers, designers, and commercial stakeholders

Nice to have:

  • Hands-on experience with AB Tasty, Contentsquare, or similar personalisation/CRO platforms
  • Familiarity with Shopify
  • Background in a premium D2C or high-growth consumer brand
  • Existing benchmark library of CRO wins and test learnings
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards in ecommerce
  • Experience in digital product management
