ABOUT THE ROLE

We're looking for a passionate and knowledgeable Careers Practitioner to join the [Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] team. This is an exciting opportunity to support young people in making confident, informed decisions about their futures. You'll work directly with students across a range of settings, delivering one-to-one guidance, supporting work-related learning activities, and helping schools and colleges embed high-quality careers education in line with the Gatsby Benchmarks.

Whether you're delivering face-to-face guidance, supporting with careers events or supporting the development of our digital resources, your work will help equip young people with the clarity, confidence and insight they need to take their next steps. In this role, you will typically be working in schools and colleges in and around Leicestershire and the surrounding areas, however our team meet, once bi-weekly, in an office located in Wigston, Leicester (LE18 1AD).

PERSON SPECIFICATIONS

The right candidate will possess all of the ESSENTIAL points listed below and would ideally have some of the DESIRABLE points listed: ESSENTIAL - Access to own car or vehicle to travel to schools. - A minimum of a Level 6 guidance qualification.  - Experience working in a careers guidance capacity.  - A clear Enhanced DBS check (carried out by [Employer hidden] during application process). - A self-starter with an ambition to succeed.  - An outstanding communicator. ​DESIRABLE - Experience of working in a range of settings including SEND schools and alternative provisions.  - Experience in developing and writing careers education resources. - Experience working with a diverse client group.  - Experience in business development, particularly working with schools and/or colleges.
