Van Driver Castleford

Are you a Van Driver in Castleford looking for work that isn’t 100 drops a day how does 10-12 sound? Call us on [contact hidden]. Don’t want to work Weekends? We have Monday to Friday, part time/set days each week if that suits you better. The shifts start at 6am or 1.30pm

Duties:

  • Safely operate a van to transport goods and deliver to customer homes
  • Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries- Load and unload cargo some assembly work may be involved but full training will be provided
  • Communicate with customers in a professional and friendly manner
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance tasks- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations.

Experience:

  • Previous experience as a van driver or in a similar role is preferred
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safety standards
  • Ability to navigate using GPS or maps
  • Strong communication skills to interact with customers or passengers
  • Physical fitness for heavy lifting and loading/unloading cargo
  • Familiarity with warehouse operations is a plus
