7.5T Driver

Summary

This 7.5T Driver – Dartford role will be a full time role delivering to customers homes with a drivers mate as it will involve heavy lifting, because you will be the final piece in the customers experience then customer service is a big part of this role so it is room of choice deliveries.

This is full time temp to perm role, where the Permanent position has a starting salary of £39,000 per annum plus bonuses.

The role will involve:

• Safely operate a 7.5T vehicle to transport goods and deliver to customer homes.
• Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries.
• Load and unload cargo, some assembly work will be required but training will be provided.
• Communicate with customers in a professional and friendly manner.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage and fuel consumptions.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance tasks.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a 7.5T Driver or similar role is preferred.
• The ability to work under own initiative and be flexible in your approach.
• Excellent communication skills and good customer service.
• Ensure all correct PPE is in good order and used at all times.
• 7.5T or Class 2 licence for more than 1 year due to insurance purposes.
• Valid CPC & Digi Tacho.
• Ability to navigate using GPS or maps.
• Physical fitness for heavy lifting and loading/unloading cargo.
