Your Role and Responsibilities
Expectations & Deliverables
- Assist in delivering high‑quality Cone Penetration Testing (CPT) data to support ground investigation projects across the UK.
- Maintain accurate test results and documentation in line with [Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk]’s technical, safety, and environmental standards.
- Operate CPT equipment under supervision, ensuring safe, reliable, and consistent performance on every site.
Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with on‑site CPT Operators, Site Managers, and project teams to complete assigned testing activities.
- Contribute to daily equipment checks, maintenance, and rig preparation to support operational readiness.
- Follow [Employer hidden]’s procedures for health, safety, quality, and environmental compliance at all times.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities and embrace opportunities to develop technical and operational skills.
- Travel to various land and nearshore project locations, staying away from home when required.
What You’ll Need to Thrive in This Role
- A full UK manual driving licence is mandatory.
- Willingness and flexibility to travel and work away from home, including nights or weekends.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work confidently and respectfully with a variety of colleagues.
- A practical mindset with an interest or aptitude in mechanics or electronics. Additional training will be provided.
- A collaborative approach, adaptability to changing site demands, and a positive attitude towards learning and development.
- An HGV Category C (Class 2) licence is desirable.
