What You’ll Be Doing:
As a key member of our stores team, you’ll help ensure materials are where they need to be—when they need to be:
- Creating purchase orders and managing goods inwards/outwards using company systems
- Receiving and checking deliveries for accuracy, quantity, and damage
- Maintaining accurate stock levels and updating systems in real time
- Storing materials efficiently and preparing items for collection and job allocation
- Carrying out regular stock checks and audits
- Keeping the stores environment clean, safe, and well organised
- Using in-house IT systems to manage stock and logistics
- Supporting with additional duties as required
What We’re Looking For:
We’re seeking someone who brings experience, reliability, and a strong eye for detail:
- At least 2 years’ experience in a similar stores, yard, or logistics role (or equivalent)
- A solid understanding of health and safety best practices
- Comfortable using computers
- Methodical, organised, and able to work independently
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organisational ability with keen attention to detail
- Able to prioritise tasks and manage a varied workload
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
- Able to meet targets in a busy, fast-changing environment
