The qualification provides an introduction to teaching and aims to meet the needs of a range of trainee teachers. The qualification covers the knowledge and skills required by teachers/trainers in the further education and training skills sector and is intended for those who wish to gain knowledge and understanding of this sector.
Level 3 Award In Education And Training
The qualification provides an introduction to teaching and aims to meet the needs of a range of trainee teachers, such as:
- individuals not currently in a teaching or training role
- individuals currently teaching and training (including those who have just begun teaching and training)
- individuals currently working as assessors who wish to achieve a qualification that provides an introduction to teaching.
The qualification covers the knowledge and skills required by teachers/trainers in the further education and training skills sector and is intended for those who wish to gain knowledge and understanding of this sector
How is it assessed?
The qualification will be assessed using a range of methods. This could include a portfolio of evidence, written assignments or a task/activities. Internally assessed and externally quality assured portfolio of evidence
