FULL DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a Claims Handler to join our established First Response Team, where your unique blend of skills, personality, and character will be instrumental in elevating the quality of service we provide to our valued clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

As a Claims Handler, you will handle initial client claims related to road traffic, personal injury, and vehicle damage. Looking after your own caseload of clients, delivering an exceptional customer service experience to both customers and clients. Being articulate, having a strong communication skill set to handle complex claims, and maintaining professional relationships with internal colleagues, external clients, and third parties. Working to targets and deadlines within a proactive workplace, meaning taking ownership of your caseload is essential.

Competitive Salary: £27,000 to £30,000. Working Hours

This role is full-time Time based on 40 Hours per week. The Working Pattern for this role is Monday to Friday 9.00am to 6.00pm, with an expectation of one late shift per week up to 7.00pm or 8.00pm and 1 to 2 weekend shifts per calendar month as part of an overtime rota. We are also fully office-based in Byker, Newcastle.

  • Contact Centre Experience.
  • Target-driven/Experience working to KPI’s.
  • Ability to work to deadlines.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Desirable Skills and Experience

  • Insurance Sector experience.
  • Case Management experience.
  • Prior knowledge of motor claims, liability, and litigation.
