Sales Consultant (ERP / Financial Products)
[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] is seeking an enthusiastic and ambitious Sales Consultant to join their team, focusing on selling ERP and Accounting products (Sage 200 & Sage Intacct). The role involves closing business opportunities, generating new leads, and maintaining the prospect database. The position is primarily home-based, with opportunities to work from offices in Derby, Sutton Coldfield, or Newcastle, and requires occasional team meetings.

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and ambitious person to join our sales team and play a key role in helping to exceed our targets, focused on selling our range of ERP and Accounting products (Sage 200 & Sage Intacct).
Responsibilities
You will become part of a dedicated team of highly skilled professionals, taking your place among Sales Consultants, Account Managers, Marketing professionals and product Consultants to support the Sale of transformational Business Management systems.
Your principle objective will be to close business opportunities for the company’s products and services, performing to a realistic margin target which reflects market demand together with our aspirations for growth.
The marketing team works hard to deliver qualified sales opportunities. However, we will expect you to be dynamic and creative, taking responsibility for the generation of new business which will include seeking out and nurturing potential sales for yourself as well.
You will also be responsible for keeping our prospect database up to date by verifying and updating records resulting from interactions with prospective clients and maintaining a pipeline of potential new business.
You will report to the Sales Director and take an active role as a member of the sales and marketing team. This will involve a collaborative approach to business development and you will be expected to attend monthly sales meetings at our head office in Derby.
Experience
A solutions sales background is essential. Experience selling Sage ERP products is advantageous. You will have a proven track record in generating and closing new business and be able to provide evidence of performance exceeding targets.

Additional Information
