FULL DESCRIPTION
NHS Community Adult ADS Consultant Psychiatrist
The post holder will work as part of multidisciplinary teams to provide care to adults with mental health needs, especially Autism Spectrum Disorder, across Barking and Dagenham, Havering, Redbridge, and Waltham Forest.
Job Details:
- Salary: £105,532.00 - £139,964.00 per annum (Pro-rata)
- Contract: Fixed-Term contract for 12 months
- Hours: Part-time: 8 Programmed Activities (DCC:SPA = 5.5:2.5)
- On Call: Frequency 1:50; Category A - 3% on-call supplement (pro-rata)

Qualifications Needed:
- Full GMC registration with a licence to practice
- CCT or equivalent
- Section 12 Approval or eligibility for it
- Approved Clinician status, or eligibility for it
- Inclusion in, or eligibility for inclusion in the Specialist Register or within 6 months of obtaining CCST
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
The post holder will be expected to:
- Work as part of multidisciplinary teams to provide care to adults with mental health needs, especially Autism Spectrum Disorder, across Barking and Dagenham, Havering, Redbridge, and Waltham Forest.
- Provide senior medical support and guidance to the team.
- Work directly with adults and their families, liaising with external adult mental health providers and acute hospitals when necessary.
- Participate in the on-call rota, with a frequency of 1:50, and receive a 3% Category A on-call supplement (pro-rata).
- Support peers and team leaders, collaborating effectively while allowing initiative within the team.
- Commit to collaborative working, supporting and liaising with other health and social professionals, and agencies to deliver the best care possible.

- GMC: Full GMC registration with a licence to practice
- Qualifications: CCT or equivalent
- Section 12 Approval: Section 12 Approval or eligibility for it
- Knowledge: Approved Clinician status, or eligibility for it
- Specialist Register: Inclusion in, or eligibility for inclusion in the Specialist Register or within 6 months of obtaining CCST
