NHS Community Adult ADS Consultant Psychiatrist

Job Details:

• Salary: £105,532.00 - £139,964.00 per annum (Pro-rata)
• Contract: Fixed-Term contract for 12 months
• Hours: Part-time: 8 Programmed Activities (DCC:SPA = 5.5:2.5)
• On Call: Frequency 1:50; Category A - 3% on-call supplement (pro-rata)
• Location: Dagenham, London, UK

Qualifications Needed:

• Full GMC registration with a licence to practice
• CCT or equivalent
• Section 12 Approval or eligibility for it
• Approved Clinician status, or eligibility for it
• Inclusion in, or eligibility for inclusion in the Specialist Register or within 6 months of obtaining CCST

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

The post holder will be expected to:

• Work as part of multidisciplinary teams to provide care to adults with mental health needs, especially Autism Spectrum Disorder, across Barking and Dagenham, Havering, Redbridge, and Waltham Forest.
• Provide senior medical support and guidance to the team.
• Work directly with adults and their families, liaising with external adult mental health providers and acute hospitals when necessary.
• Participate in the on-call rota, with a frequency of 1:50, and receive a 3% Category A on-call supplement (pro-rata).
• Support peers and team leaders, collaborating effectively while allowing initiative within the team.
• Commit to collaborative working, supporting and liaising with other health and social professionals, and agencies to deliver the best care possible.

• GMC: Full GMC registration with a licence to practice
• Qualifications: CCT or equivalent
• Section 12 Approval: Section 12 Approval or eligibility for it
• Knowledge: Approved Clinician status, or eligibility for it
• Specialist Register: Inclusion in, or eligibility for inclusion in the Specialist Register or within 6 months of obtaining CCST
