Title of Role: Marketing Assistant
Responsible to: Marketing Manager
Salary: £12.21–£12.72 per hour
Work based benefits: Company laptop; 28 days’ holiday (inc. bank holidays) + 1 Wellbeing Day; structured CPD with access to industry‑recognised qualifications; expenses & mileage support; supportive, developmental culture.
Work pattern: up to 32 hours per week. 52 weeks a year based across multiple sites in the South East, with remote working also available.
JOB PURPOSE
Create engaging, high quality content that elevates the [Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] brand across online channels and in person events. You’ll develop and deliver campaigns that grow our audience, strengthen brand identity, drive programme participation, and support sales and promotion of our Pro Perform clothing and accessories range.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Content creation: Lead on creating and editing multi‑format content (social graphics, short‑form video, photography, podcasts, blogs) for online and offline use.
- Social media management: Plan, post and optimise content across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X (Twitter) and LinkedIn. Track trends and audience behaviour to inform campaigns.
- Campaign delivery: Run integrated campaigns (organic and paid, where applicable) that increase reach, engagement, sign‑ups and conversions, reporting against agreed KPIs.
- Brand & PR: Build awareness and consistency of brand voice and visuals; support media/PR opportunities and community storytelling.
- Pro Perform promotion: Coordinate marketing for the Pro Perform product line content, product features, promotions, and event-based displays.
- Events & outreach: Represent [Employer hidden] at careers fairs, community and networking events, capturing content and promoting services and Pro Perform products at various sites, locations and sessions across the county
- Website & SEO: Contribute to design, User Experience, content updates and SEO improvements on our WordPress site.
- Reputation & reviews: Encourage and amplify positive feedback, testimonials and online reviews to support acquisition and retention.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the operational delivery team and senior leaders to implement the marketing strategy and support event coordination.
- General: Any other duties as reasonably directed by the Marketing Manager, senior leadership or board.

Education, qualifications, training and work experience.
- ● Minimum Level 3 qualification in ● Level 5 (Degree) in Marketing Digital Marketing or Social Media.
- ● Up-to-date Safeguarding qualifications.
- ● At least 1 year of experience in a marketing role.
- ● Knowledge of sport and activity initiatives.
Knowledge, skills and experience.
- ● Proficient in Microsoft 365 ● Experience using social media (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, scheduling tools (e.g., Buffer, Teams, Outlook). Hootsuite, Later).
- ● Experience in website design and WordPress.
- ● Skilled in Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, and digital scheduling tools.
- ● Familiarity with digital planning platforms such as Trello.
Project Delivery
