We are looking for a skilled and values-driven Team Manager to support a young man to live a meaningful, active, and fulfilling life, while leading a staff team to deliver high-quality, person-centred support.

We are looking for a skilled and values-driven Team Manager to support a young man to live a meaningful, active, and fulfilling life, while leading a staff team to deliver high-quality, person-centred support.

“Sammy” is a 26-year-old man with a great sense of pride in his appearance and a wide range of interests. He responds well to positive relationships, encouragement, and consistency. Sammy enjoys staying active, spending time in the community, and taking part in social activities such as live music events, discos, and karaoke nights.

As Team Manager, you will play a key role in both direct support and leadership. You will be responsible for developing and guiding the staff team to deliver support that is person-centred, proactive, and grounded in Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) principles.

This includes:

  • Leading on PBS practice, ensuring support is proactive, respectful, and focused on quality of life
  • Coaching and supporting staff to develop their skills and confidence
  • Ensuring a consistent and reflective approach
  • Supporting staff to understand why behaviours occur and respond in ways that reduce distress and promote wellbeing
  • Working collaboratively with Sammy’s family and professionals

You will also support Sammy to develop skills, make choices, and have a strong voice in decisions about his life, routines, and activities.
