Join IH London's Young Learners team as a Summer EFL Teacher, inspiring young international students. Responsibilities include delivering English lessons, supporting student experience, and contributing to pastoral care. Contracts are available from 1–6 weeks, with free accommodation and meals provided.
What We’re Looking For
We’re searching for passionate, student-focused teachers who want to continue developing as teachers and can bring learning to life.
To apply you must have:
- − A CELTA/Trinity TESOL or equivalent (PGCEs in relevant subjects will be considered)
- − Experience working with young learners, ideally in residential settings
- − A positive, flexible, “can-do” attitude
- − Strong classroom management and communication skills
- − A commitment to creating safe, inclusive spaces for all students
What the Job Is About
As a Summer EFL Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering engaging, communicative English lessons and supporting the wider student experience on campus. This fully residential position goes beyond classroom teaching: you’ll help create a welcoming, supportive environment for international young learners, contribute to pastoral care, assist with fun on-site activities, and support arrivals, departures and induction processes. You will be part of a friendly team, receive paid induction training, and benefit from ongoing CPD throughout your contract.
Contract Details
- − Contracts available from 1–6 weeks, depending on operational needs
- − Up to 36 hours per week across six days with one full day off per week
- − Evening and weekend work expected as part of the residential schedule
- − Free accommodation in single rooms with staff-only shared bathrooms
- − Three meals a day + free tea and coffee

Oxford – St Edward’s School (ages 8–17) - 1st July – 12th August 2026
Frensham – Frensham Heights School (ages 12–17) - 8th July – 5th August 2026
