FULL DESCRIPTION
We are recruiting for a Customer Service Advisor, based at our Ashton Road site in Hyde. Main responsibilities include order processing, handling customer inquiries and complaints, and building relationships with key partners.
Main Responsibilities and Duties
- Management and accurate processing of orders.
- Management of general customer enquiries to maximise customer satisfaction.
- Dealing with customer complaints to completion ensuring the best possible outcome for the customer and the least negative impact to the company.
- Accurately record relevant information to ensure accurate completion of important follow up.
- Cultivate strong working relationships with key partners and communicate regular with customers.
- Work in conjunction with the Area Sales Managers to ensure a best-in-class customer experience throughout every customer interaction.
- Ensure after sales care is as key a priority as the pre order and order process.
- Work as an integral part of the commercial team to amplify key communications and execute company strategy.
- Processing customer orders in time-received order, accurately and promptly, ensuring a smooth order flow to the Stores and despatch departments.
- Informing customers of any delays due to out of stock or other problems.
- Handling customer complaints, always ensuring good customer services. Arranging collections from customers via the carrier company and replacement orders where necessary.
- Liaising with Area Sales Managers to inform them of any relevant customer issues, enquiries, opportunities and contributing to customer relationship management processes and strategies.
General Responsibilities
- Your workplace and working area must be kept clean and tidy and all paperwork filed accordingly. You must adhere to the Company’s Health and Safety standards as defined in the Health and Safety Policy.
- You must comply to the policies and procedures contained within the Employee Handbook.
- Perform within the requirements of your position and maintain the Company’s Quality Procedures.
- Carry out any other duties when required. This may involve working in other departments/offices.
Essential Criteria:
- Good communication skills / telephone manner.
- Computer Literate.
- Numerate, accurate and organised.
- Ability to meet deadlines and targets.
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
- The ability to build and retain detailed product knowledge.
- Have a “can do” attitude, be prepared to take the initiative and make things happen.
