The Role

As a Healthcare Assistant, you will support the clinical team in delivering safe, effective, and high-quality care to patients. You will play a key role in ensuring patients feel comfortable, supported, and well cared for throughout their visit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist clinicians with patient care and clinical procedures
  • Prepare clinical rooms and ensure equipment is clean and ready for use
  • Monitor and record patient observations accurately
  • Provide reassurance and support to patients before, during, and after treatments
  • Maintain accurate patient records in line with clinic policies
  • Ensure high standards of cleanliness and infection control are upheld
  • Support with stock control and ordering of clinical supplies
  • Deliver excellent customer service and maintain patient confidentiality at all times

Candidate Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Healthcare Assistant or Clinical Support Worker
  • Experience within a private healthcare or medical setting is desirable
  • Relevant healthcare qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care) is preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Professional, caring, and empathetic manner
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
