We are looking for a dynamic and strategic Head of People to lead in a fast-paced, creative media environment. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of one of the UK’s most dynamic creative hubs.

We are looking for a dynamic and strategic Head of People to lead in a fast-paced, creative media environment. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of one of the UK’s most dynamic creative hubs. Principle Accountabilities

  • Lead the people agenda for MediaCity, enabling growth and building organisational capability.
  • Create a culture of collaboration and creativity that attracts and retains top talent.
  • Leverage [Employer hidden]’s heritage and resources to deliver world-class people strategies.
  • Operate with a broader [Employer hidden] perspective, aligning Media City’s approach with group-wide standards and sharing best practice.
  • Assume responsibility within the wider [Employer hidden] group for implementing legislation changes, working closely with the People Directors and People Managers across the group and other key stakeholders such as CoSec to ensure policies and procedures are fit for purpose and evolve as necessary.
  • Lead on all ER activity within MediaCity and support the wider [Employer hidden] group on key activity such as acquisitions and TUPE when required
  • Work closely with the Head of Reward and People Director as part of the wider group focus in improving governance and data-driven decision making
  • Champion innovation in people practices matching the pace of a fast-evolving media landscape.

Essential Criteria

  • Proven senior HR/People leadership experience within a complex, fast paced organisation.
  • Deep knowledge of People processes, employment legislation, governance, and policy frameworks.
  • Experience leading and developing People teams, fostering a high performance, inclusive culture.
  • Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion, with experience embedding inclusive people practices.
  • Ability to lead organisational change and deliver people focused transformation initiatives.
  • Strong analytical and data driven approach, using insights and assessment tools to inform decisions.
  • Strong capability in HR systems (e.g. Workday) and people data management.
  • High integrity, sound judgement, and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential issues with discretion.

The Recruitment Process
