Job Description
You’ll support pupils with behavioural or SEMH needs across lessons, small groups, and transitions. You’ll model positive routines, use supportive de-escalation, and help pupils re-engage with learning. Working closely with the class teacher and pastoral team, you’ll deliver short interventions and contribute to behaviour plans designed to promote calm, confidence, and consistency.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide 1:1 and small-group behaviour support.
- Use restorative approaches and calm de-escalation.
- Track behaviour patterns and share key updates with staff.
- Reinforce routines and support positive engagement.
Desired Experience + Qualifications
- Experience with SEMH, behaviour support, or pastoral work.
- Confident using clear routines and restorative strategies.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Committed to safeguarding and reflective practice.
