Job Description

You’ll support children in an Early Years classroom through structured play, communication activities, and early literacy and numeracy tasks. You’ll assist with small-group learning, reinforce routines, and help create a calm, engaging environment. Working alongside the class teacher, you’ll contribute to a setting where children feel safe, supported, and ready to explore learning.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support play-based learning and early development activities.
  • Assist with phonics, language, and early numeracy sessions.
  • Reinforce routines and positive social behaviour.
  • Prepare learning materials and support classroom organisation.

Desired Experience + Qualifications

  • Experience working with Early Years or nursery-aged children.
  • Warm, patient communication style.
  • Confidence supporting structured play and early learning.
