An early years setting in Oxfordshire is seeking a compassionate EYFS SEND Support Assistant to work 1:1 with a pupil with complex needs. This role requires strong experience within EYFS and the ability to manage challenging behaviours in a calm and structured manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide dedicated 1:1 support for a child with SEND
- Support emotional regulation and behaviour management
- Assist with EYFS learning activities and routines
- Work closely with teaching staff and SEND team
- Encourage engagement, development, and independence
Desired Experience + Qualifications
- Experience supporting children with complex SEND needs
- Strong knowledge of EYFS framework
- Experience managing challenging behaviours
- Patient, resilient, and nurturing approach
- DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
