Job Description
A specialist school in Worcestershire is seeking a passionate SEND Teacher to support pupils with a range of additional needs including Autism, SEMH, and learning difficulties. This role is ideal for a teacher who can deliver personalised learning, build strong relationships with pupils, and create a structured classroom environment where every learner can succeed.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver differentiated lessons tailored to SEND learners
- Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development
- Monitor progress against EHCP targets
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and pastoral staff
- Maintain strong behaviour management and inclusive classroom practices
Desired Experience + Qualifications
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience working with pupils with SEND (desirable)
- Strong behaviour management and adaptability
- Patient, resilient, and nurturing approach
- DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
