FULL DESCRIPTION

Reading Support Partner

You’ll support pupils who benefit from additional reading practice, delivering small-group sessions and 1:1 guided reading. You’ll help pupils develop fluency, comprehension, and confidence while reinforcing phonics and vocabulary. Working alongside teachers, you’ll provide targeted support that helps pupils strengthen literacy foundations and participate fully across the wider curriculum.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Deliver structured guided reading sessions.
  • Support phonics development and vocabulary growth.
  • Provide 1:1 support to pupils building reading confidence.
  • Monitor progress and share feedback with teaching staff.
