Position: Experienced Waiter with Wine Knowledge

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and seat guests in a courteous and friendly manner.
  • Provide exceptional table service by taking orders, serving food, and suggesting wines from over 450 lines from 18 countries.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of our wine offerings and assist guests in making informed wine choices.
  • Maintain a clean and organised workspace, ensuring the dining area is tidy and set up appropriately.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service flow.
  • Anticipate guests' needs and respond promptly to requests or concerns.
  • Upsell wine options and promote special offerings to enhance the guest experience.
  • Process payments accurately and efficiently.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a waiter in a high-quality dining establishment.
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of wines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Impeccable grooming and presentation.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a genuine passion for creating memorable guest experiences.
  • Flexible schedule, including availability on weekends and holidays.
  • Candidates must be at least 18 years old.
