FULL DESCRIPTION

Night Concierge

Join the managing agent of a superb, high-end residential development in a highly sought-after Central London location, as Night Concierge to maintain the security and service standards throughout the night hours.

Core focus of the Night Concierge – Luxury Residential

As the Night Concierge, you will be solely responsible for the smooth and secure operation of the development between late evening and early morning. Your primary focus will be safety, security, and ensuring all services and building systems are functioning correctly, allowing residents peace of mind.

Day-to-day of the role

  • Security Management: Taking full responsibility for the security of the building, including monitoring CCTV systems, patrolling common areas, managing access control, and ensuring all entrance points are secured according to protocol.
  • Service Continuity: Providing discreet, high-level service to residents during the night, including assisting with late arrivals/departures, handling emergency access requests, and coordinating out-of-hours taxi/chauffeur services.
  • Building System Checks: Conducting regular checks of the fire alarm panels, essential M&E plant, and life safety systems, reporting any faults or anomalies immediately to the on-call facilities team.
  • Administrative Duties: Managing the key log system, logging all incidents and activities thoroughly and accurately in the hand-over documentation, and sorting overnight deliveries securely.
  • Emergency Response: Acting as the first point of contact for all site emergencies, following established protocols for fire, medical, or security incidents, and liaising promptly with emergency services where necessary.
  • Presentation: Ensuring the lobby and common areas remain immaculate throughout the night, preparing the reception area for the start of the day shift.

Skills you need

We are looking for a reliable, composed, and security-conscious individual who can excel working independently:

  • Experience: Previous experience (minimum 2 years) in a security, concierge, or night-time guest services role, preferably within a luxury residential, 4/5-star hotel, or high-end security environment.
  • Security Qualification: Possession of a valid SIA licence (Security Industry Authority) is essential for this role.
  • Demeanour: A professional, calm, and highly discreet manner, capable of handling sensitive situations with tact and composure.
  • Reliability: Proven track record of excellent attendance and timekeeping, reflecting the critical nature of the night shift.
  • IT Skills: Proficient in the use of CCTV and access control systems, as well as basic property management/incident logging software.
  • Communication: Clear and articulate communication skills, both written (for accurate reports) and verbal
