Support Worker – Adult Specialist Care
This post is open to female applicants only under the Equality Act 2010, Schedule 9, Paragraph 1, due to the personal care needs of the people we support.
£13.00 to £13.50 per hour (£31,400 to £32,400 per year including sleep-ins)
Runcorn
Permanent, full-time

Your role as a Support Worker
- Provide day-to-day care and support to adults with specialist needs
- Support daily routines, personal care, activities and community engagement
- Help adults build confidence, independence and essential life skills
- Follow individual care plans and positive behaviour support strategies
- Create a safe, positive and inclusive home environment
- Maintain accurate records and work as part of a supportive team
What we are looking for
- Experience in care, support work, Autism, Learning Disabilities or Mental Health (helpful but not essential)
- A compassionate, patient and reliable approach
- Willingness to work towards a Level 2 or Level 3 Health & Social Care qualification
- Strong commitment to safeguarding and positive outcomes
- Resilience, empathy and a genuine desire to support adults with complex needs
