Product Designer

The role:

You will own the design of our entire product ecosystem. You are responsible for the user interface and experience of our patient mobile app and our web-based clinical/admin portal. This is a hands-on, end-to-end role.

Responsibilities:

• End-to-End Design: Lead the design process from research and user flows to high-fidelity, production-ready designs.
• Cross-Platform Execution: Design, iterate, and maintain features for our mobile app (iOS/Android) and web dashboards.
• Design System Ownership: Partner with engineering to build and manage a scalable design system, ensuring consistency between design and code.
• Accessibility: Ensure all products meet accessibility standards to support a diverse patient and clinical audience.
• Collaboration: Work with Engineering and Product to define requirements, navigate technical constraints, and ship high-quality features.
• Brand Stewardship: Maintain visual identity across all products and support occasional wider design needs (e.g., assets or decks) as required in a small team.

Your skillset:

• Product Generalist: Highly capable across both UX (logic, flows, structure) and UI (patterns, typography, visual craft).
• Systems Thinking: Ability to design specific features while accounting for their impact on the broader system and different user types.
• Pragmatic Execution: You balance craft with the speed of a start-up, knowing when to use established patterns vs. custom solutions.
• Figma Expertise: Advanced proficiency in Figma, including component libraries and interactive prototyping.
• Communication: Ability to clearly articulate the "why" behind design decisions to stakeholders and non-designers.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience shipping functional digital products (mobile and web).
• Experience working in a high-growth start-up.
• Preferred: Experience in healthcare or managing sensitive user data.
