Group Reporting Analyst

[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] is hiring a Group Reporting Analyst (12-month maternity cover) as part of the Group Finance Team.

Role Overview:

This role reports to the Head of Group Reporting. You will work closely with management to create a best-in-class financial reporting function and improve accounting processes in the group. The role will be high-profile with exposure to senior management and other departments across the business, including regional business units.

This is a 12-month fixed-term contract (maternity cover), starting in May-June 2026. The role requires 3 days per week in our London, Hammersmith office.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Month-end consolidation and critical analysis of monthly management accounts
  • Assisting with the external audit cycle
  • Intercompany accounting including consolidation elimination entries and transfer pricing
  • Responsibility for production of subsidiary accounts
  • Support with VAT and corporation tax preparation, including internal and external partnering on these matters
  • Ad-hoc strategic project work arising due to rapid growth of the company
  • Key support on Group treasury activities, focusing on hedging activities and controls
  • Responsibility for various sections of the Annual Report and press releases
  • Technical accounting projects and liaison with the external audit team
  • Close collaboration with FP&A team on production of the month-end reporting pack

Skills required: 

  • Chartered Accountant qualification (ACA, ACCA, CA or overseas equivalent)
  • 0-2+ years post qualification experience (incl. recently qualified)
  • Experience of audit process, ideally gained in practice
  • Knowledge of financial control frameworks
  • Familiarity with stock accounting and manufacturing
  • Knowledge of accounting for multi-currency consolidations under IFRS is useful
  • Strong MS Office skills (especially Excel) and proficient in manipulating large data sets
  • Highly motivated, enjoys problem solving, attention to detail
