Locations: Multiple opportunities across East Anglia, working 40 hrs per week, Monday-Friday

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and repair heating systems across a range of fuel types, including domestic gas, oil, and solid fuel, for domestic and social housing properties.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, including Gas Safe and OFTEC standards.
  • Carry out reactive repairs, servicing of boilers, fires, and other appliances in line with manufacturer instructions and industry best practices.
  • Issue safety certificates and keep accurate records using electronic or manual systems.
  • Manage stock replenishment efficiently and liaise with approved suppliers.
  • Participate in the on-call rota to provide 24/7 emergency cover across our property portfolio.

Minimum Essential Criteria:

  • Gas related qualifications - Domestic: ACS, CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, CPA1, HTR1, MET1, HWSS1,CMDDA1, WREG
  • Proven track record in a service or maintenance engineering role, particularly responding to breakdown scenarios.
  • Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Strong commitment to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • A full UK driving licence is required.

Skills and Aptitudes:

  • Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong technical acumen with experience using a variety of diagnostic tools and software.
  • Outstanding communication skills, able to interact effectively with stakeholders and customers
