FULL DESCRIPTION

Interim Finance Director | Consumer Brand | £120–130k (pro‑rata) | 6‑Month Contract | North London | 3 Days Onsite | ASAP Start | JRLJ34556

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Overseeing cash flow, liquidity and working capital, ensuring financial stability and visibility for the CEO.
  • Reviewing monthly management accounts and providing clear insight, recommendations, and financial guidance.
  • Driving cost control initiatives, reviewing company expenditure and identifying opportunities for efficiency and profitability improvements.
  • Supporting commercial strategy including pricing, product development and growth planning alongside the CEO and leadership team.
  • Leading and developing the finance team, ensuring strong performance, collaboration and ownership.
  • Improving financial processes, controls and reporting tools, and recommending system enhancements or automation to streamline operations.
  • Preparing financial reports, forecasts and board‑level analysis, as well as contributing to budgeting, financial modelling and long‑term planning.

The Successful Candidate:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with strong senior finance leadership experience.
  • Proven background in commercial finance, cost management and partnering with CEOs or senior leadership.
  • Hands‑on and comfortable working in a fast‑growing, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels.
  • Available immediately or on short notice, and able to commit to 3 days onsite in North London.
