Junior Risk & Controls Analyst | Media Sector | Hybrid Working | London | £45,000 | JRSO34518

We are seeking a Risk & Controls Analyst to support risk management and internal controls team for our client in the Media sector.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Financial Control & Reporting – Support accurate financial reporting and maintain effective control environments across all financially impactful processes.
  • Audit & Assurance – Act as primary contact for internal and external audits, coordinating audit activity and monitoring remediation actions.
  • Systems & Integration – Assess the financial and process impact of system implementations and business integrations, ensuring appropriate controls are embedded.
  • Compliance & Governance – Oversee adherence to key policies (e.g., anti-bribery, gifts & entertainment, travel & expenses) and support ongoing governance activities.
  • Process Improvement & Stakeholder Support – Drive process improvements, deliver reporting and presentations for senior stakeholders, support training initiatives, and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Skills & Requirements

  • Educated to degree level achieving 2.1 and above
  • 2 years+ relevant experience in finance, risk, audit, or internal controls
  • Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Advanced excel skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
