FULL DESCRIPTION

We are recruiting experienced CNC Brake Press / Punch Press Operatives to join a busy sheet metal fabrication team. This is an excellent opportunity to work with CNC machinery and automated fabrication equipment, producing high-quality components in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operating and setting up CNC machinery, press brakes, punch machines, panel benders, and routers
  • Producing sheet metal components to exact specifications and quality standards
  • Loading and handling sheet steel, aluminium, and other materials
  • Carrying out quality checks, first-offs, and final inspections
  • Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised work area in line with 6S standards
  • Reporting equipment faults and supporting smooth production flow
  • Assisting and training other team members when required

Candidate Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in sheet metal fabrication or CNC operations
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety, Quality, and build standards
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet production targets
  • IT literate and proactive in approach

Desirable:

  • Experience operating Trumpf, Salvagnini, Safan, or Emergi machinery
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing tools (8D, A3, 5Y, Fishbone)
  • Working knowledge of SAP
