Group Accounting Manager
An exciting opportunity to join the [Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] team!
You'll be;
- Coordinating and overseeing the monthly group closing timetable and processes.
- Owning the monthly accounting for certain group subsidiaries, including onboarding new companies and working with any outsourcing providers, as required.
- Leading the preparation of the monthly consolidation financial statements and management accounts, developing detailed group supporting schedules and analysis.
- Leading the preparation of statutory financial statements for the consolidated group and certain group subsidiaries.
- Supporting with managing the audit process with our group statutory auditors and preparing key group deliverables.
- Supporting the upcoming implementation and transition to a new ERP system (D365), including the implementation of the group’s consolidation process.
- Driving the implementation of group wide accounting policies, processes and controls and supporting the creation of a group finance manual.
- Providing technical accounting guidance to the wider Finance team and business.
- Managing the group’s transfer pricing calculations in tandem with the Group Financial Controller and Tax team.
- Owning the group chart of accounts.
- Leading or supporting other ad hoc group projects as they arise.
You'll have;
- An accounting qualification, such as ACA or similar (essential).
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a group finance role, including group consolidation.
- Experience in a fast-growing, international business.
- Solid and up to date knowledge of IFRS.
- Experience working with and implementing a consolidation system (desirable).
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Desire to drive change, as well as being proactive and having a hands-on approach to problem solving.
