Lodge Supervisor

Jesus College is seeking a professional, calm and highly organised Lodge Supervisor to join our Lodge team. This is a pivotal front-of-house role at the heart of College life, combining leadership, customer service, security, welfare support and operational oversight.

Please refer to the Job Description. Working hours are 07.00 am to 19.00pm with a 30 minute unpaid break.

Essential Criteria

  • Ability to make quick, confident decision under pressure.
  • Ability to maintain composure when dealing with difficult situations or guests, keeping interactions calm and professional and when dealing with emergencies.
  • Experience of minute taking.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills including report writing and presentation.
  • Competent user of IT and digital platforms.
  • Passionate about creating a high standard of service and ensuring a memorable guest experience.

These qualities are critical to thriving in the fast-paced, dynamic environment of a lodge. A Lodge Supervisor needs to balance leadership with compassion, attention to detail with flexibility, and customer service with operational efficiency.
