Job Description:

As a full-time workshop operative, you will play a crucial role in supporting our despatch team in various functions. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse team and contribute to the success of our organization. You will assist in the production process and ensure smooth operation and high-quality standards are maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in receiving and inspecting incoming parts, materials, or equipment deliveries.
  • Assist in the loading and unloading of vehicles or containers using the forklift as required.
  • Inspect the condition of incoming equipment or materials and document any damages or issues.
  • Conduct regular stock checks to identify shortages, damaged items, or expired materials, and report findings to the appropriate personnel.
  • Job Check-in and Check-out.
  • Receive incoming jobs and verify job details, ensuring all necessary information is provided.
  • Provide general support to the workshop team, including assisting technicians, mechanics, or other personnel with tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Valid forklift operator certification/license.
  • Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or industrial setting.
  • Strong understanding of forklift safety procedures and best practices.
  • Full Driving License.
  • General IT literacy.

Working Hours:

38-42 Hours per week
