Responsibilities include interpreting technical drawings, installing electrical components, and maintaining quality standards. No experience is required as full training will be provided.

We are currently looking for an LV Switchboard Builder – General Operative or Electrical Fitter to join our team and help us continue to build a culture of excellence.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assembly of electrical Switchgear and low voltage switchboards to engineering drawings and production timescales
  • Interpret technical drawings and built instructions
  • Install a range of different electric components such as circuit breakers and busbars
  • Apply good workmanship, ensure quality standards are maintained for the products both in the factory and at customers premises.
  • A high level of mechanical aptitude and dexterity
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment in accordance with company health and safety policies

Desired Criteria:

  • No experience is required as full training will be provided
  • Prior experience in mechanical and electrical assembly, as well as proficiency with hand tools, is beneficial
  • Flexible approach to work, willingness to learn and be part of a team
  • Proficiency in basic written and spoken English
  • A strong work ethic and keen attention to detail are essential
