We are currently seeking a Junior Electrical Project Engineer to join our team. This role is ideal for a motivated graduate or early-career engineer looking to develop their skills within a supportive and experienced engineering environment.
Job Description
Working alongside experienced [Employer hidden] electrical engineering staff, the Junior Electrical Project Engineer will support the delivery of control panel designs for construction and supply to customers throughout the UK & Europe. The role involves assisting with control panel design activities and liaising with the production department to ensure panels are manufactured in line with customer specifications and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting the rollout of electrical engineering works by liaising with management, site lead engineers, and customers.
- Assisting with the coordination of installation standards, personnel, budgets, and project schedules.
- Helping to prepare method statements and documentation to ensure works are completed safely and in line with regulations.
- Gaining experience working both on-site and from head office.
- Assisting with project valuations and tracking variations on ongoing projects.
- Supporting the management of as-fitted drawings and handover documentation for clients.
Essential
- Successful completion of, or working towards, a MEng / BEng / BSc / HNC / HND qualification in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering, Building Services Design, or related disciplines.
- A full driving licence or working towards obtaining one.
- A strong willingness to learn, develop technical and project engineering skills, and grow within a fast-paced engineering company.
Desirable
- Any placement, internship, or graduate experience in a similar engineering role.
- Basic knowledge or experience using CAD software.
Place of Work
- Based at [Employer hidden] Head Office, Cookstown, Northern Ireland.
- The role will involve visiting client sites as required.
Working Hours
- 38 to 42 hours per week.
- Monday to Friday.
