Job Description:

In this position, you’ll work both onsite with our clients and in-house at our Cookstown facility. This role is essential in helping us deliver top-quality mechanical maintenance, repairs, and installation services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out maintenance, repair, overhaul, and assembly of mechanical equipment, including electric motors, gearboxes, and pumps, both onsite and in-house.
  • Perform equipment disassembly, inspection, fault diagnosis, bearing and seal replacement, and reassembly to required specifications.
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues on rotating equipment, helping to minimise downtime and ensure reliable operation for clients.
  • Work collaboratively with the [Employer hidden] team to deliver projects, breakdown repairs, and planned maintenance on time and to specification.
  • Comply with all health and safety procedures, contributing to a strong culture of safety and responsibility.

Essential

  • Experienced Mechanical Fitter with a broad mechanical skill set.
  • Hands-on experience working with electric motors, gearboxes, and pumps.
  • Competence in mechanical disassembly, bearing and seal replacement, and precision fitting.
  • Proficiency in welding (MIG, TIG, etc.); stainless steel welding experience is advantageous but not essential.
  • A reliable problem-solver who can work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work both at the Cookstown site and across various client locations as required.

Place of Work:

Based at [Employer hidden] Head Office, Cookstown, Northern Ireland. The role will involve visiting different client locations, on-site.

Working Hours:

38 to 42 Hours per week.
