Responsibilities include cutting, bending, drilling, and punching copper bars for LV switchboards, using CNC machinery and hand tools, and working to production schedules. No experience is required as full training will be provided.

We are currently looking for an LV switchboard copper machinist to join our team and help us continue to build a culture of excellence.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Cutting, bending, drilling, and punching copper bars for use in low voltage switchboards
  • Fabrication and assembly of various components for LV switchboards
  • Use of CNC copper processing machinery and manual tools to specified engineering drawings
  • Work to production schedules and quality standards in a safe and efficient manner
  • Assist with copper installation into switchboards when required
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area in accordance with health and safety standards

Desired Criteria:

  • No experience is required as full training will be provided
  • Prior experience in mechanical and electrical assembly, as well as proficiency with hand tools, is beneficial
  • Flexible approach to work, willingness to learn and be part of a team
  • Proficiency in basic written and spoken English
  • A strong work ethic and keen attention to detail are essential
