Electrical Engineers - Orkie (Freuchie)

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems, machinery, and production lines
• Diagnose and repair electrical faults to minimize downtime
• Maintain PLCs, motors, drives, sensors, and control panels
• Ensure compliance with food safety, electrical, and workplace safety standards
• Support installation and commissioning of new equipment
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports
• Collaborate with production and mechanical teams to improve equipment reliability
• Participate in shift work or on-call duties as required

Skills:

• SVQ3 and HNC in Electrical Engineering
• 18th Edition Wiring Regs Certification
• IPAF License
• Experience in an industrial or food processing environment
• Experience with single phase and 3 phase systems in an industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, PLCs, VFDs, and automation
• Experience with preventive maintenance programs and Computerised maintenance Management Systems
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Strong commitment to safety and hygiene standards
• Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, or similar food safety systems

Shift Pattern

4 on 4 off, days and nights 06.00 – 18.00 and 18.00 - 06.00

Salary from £47,228.80
