Maintenance Person Full-time, Bessbrook
We are now looking for a Maintenance Person, full-time, permanent in our Avila Nursing Home, Bessbrook.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues promptly to minimise downtime
- Supervise fire drills for staff and coordinate schedules
- Uphold safety protocols and regulations in all maintenance activities
-Some light painting and decorating, basic plumbing and gardening skills required.
-Must have full UK driving licence.
Experience
- Proficiency in English for effective communication with team members and vendors
- Strong customer service skills to interact with external contractors
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair various equipment types
- Familiarity with electrical systems and components
- Prior experience in maintenance is a plus
