What do the team do?

The Marketing and Business Development department at [Employer hidden] is a high-performing, collaborative team with a strong digital focus on driving high quality leads into the firm, building on our growing brand and reputation, and positioning the practice as thought-leaders within the industry.

You'll manage a wide range of internal and external events, including conferences, dinners and meetings of all sizes. These will take place across the UK, with the opportunity to support international events too, so flexibility to travel when needed is important.

This is a hands‑on role where no two days are the same, perfect for someone who enjoys juggling multiple projects and takes pride in delivering high‑quality, memorable events.

What will I be doing?

As an Events Coordinator you will have ownership of the following tasks:

  • Managing the full event lifecycle, from initial concept and planning through to coordination and on‑the‑day delivery.
  • Planning and delivering a variety of events, including conferences, dinners and meetings.
  • Maintaining events and sponsorship calendars and making sure our people are aware of upcoming opportunities.
  • Sourcing, visiting and selecting venues that meet event requirements and budgets.
  • Organising catering, managing dietary requirements, booking speakers, equipment and room layouts.
  • Carrying out risk assessments and ensuring all Health & Safety requirements are met.
  • Reviewing and negotiating supplier contracts to secure the best possible terms.
  • Working closely with the Marketing team to promote events and ensure branding and materials are in place.

What experience do I need?

Whilst having the following experience is advantageous, we value passion and potential. If you meet the minimum criteria listed below and are eager to develop yourself, we would love to hear from you:

  • Proven experience organising large corporate events from start to finish in a professional services environment (minimum criteria).
  • A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (minimum criteria).
  • Strong knowledge of Health & Safety requirements.
  • Experience managing budgets and tracking costs.
  • A confident, positive approach with a real passion for delivering high‑quality events.
  • A trustworthy and reliable nature, with discretion and flexibility.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organisation, communication and time‑management skills.
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Outlook.
