[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] is seeking a talented No 2 Technician to join the JLR Rally Team. The role involves working under the guidance of the No 1 and Chief Technician, preparing cars and equipment to high standards, and requiring teamwork, stamina, and a strong work ethic. Worldwide travel is essential.
Key responsibilities:
- Carry out work as directed by the No 1 Technician/Chief Technician.
- Keep the No 1 Technician informed at all times of any additional work necessary on a car during build or repair.
- Perform On-Event and workshop maintenance as required by No 1/Chief Technician.
- Ensure car is always to the correct specification.
- Carry out other adhoc duties requested by the Team management.
Who are we looking for?
Our ideal candidate will have previous rally experience with a strong ability to understand and interpret the build specification of a full car set up, and the ability to follow build and operational procedures accurately. You will be a team player and a good communicator with teammates and engineers. You will have a full UK driving licence. Good attention to detail is required, along with a flexible approach and preparedness to work overtime as dictated by the demands of the business.
