Maintenance Assistant
We are looking for a Maintenance Assistant to be based primarily at the Brig o' Doon House Hotel, with occasional support at the Fairfield House Hotel and other [Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] Group properties across Ayrshire. This role will involve working 5 days a week, including weekends, to help maintain our properties and grounds to the highest standards.

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Perform general maintenance tasks (electrical, plumbing, carpentry) across the hotel.
- Maintain the hotel grounds, including gardening, weeding, trimming, and power washing to ensure a tidy, well-kept exterior.
- Assist with basic property upkeep and repairs to maintain a safe and welcoming environment for guests and staff.
- Assist with laundry, waste management, and transporting guest luggage to support the smooth running of hotel operations.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests, both planned and reactive, to ensure all facilities are in working order.
- Ensure hotel areas, including maintenance spaces, are kept clean, organized, and safe.
- Occasionally travel to other [Employer hidden] Group locations and properties in South Ayrshire to provide maintenance and garden support as needed.
What You’ll Need:
- Proven experience in a maintenance role, with the ability to carry out general repairs efficiently.
- Basic plumbing and joinery skills are highly beneficial, though not essential.
- Flexibility to work weekends.
- A positive, can-do attitude and a strong work ethic, with a genuine passion for maintaining excellent environments.
- Strong communication skills, able to work effectively with colleagues and guests alike.
- A valid driving licence is essential.
