FULL DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a highly skilled, passionate, experienced Registered Manager with a strong background in care to join our team. You will be responsible for the growth and development of our care service, ensuring the delivery of outstanding quality care.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of a care facility, ensuring high-quality care for residents.
  • Develop and implement care plans for each resident, taking into account their individual needs and preferences.
  • Build and maintain a robust care team, fostering a supportive and positive working environment.
  • Supervise and train staff members, providing guidance and support in delivering exceptional care.
  • Ensure relevant reports are forwarded to relevant bodies, e.g. CQC and Ofsted.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to resident care and facility operations.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, families, and residents to create a positive and supportive environment.
  • Manage budgets, resources, and inventory to ensure efficient operation of the facility.
  • Promote the highest standards of care and service with a focus on person-centred care.
  • Care planning and conducting risk assessments, ensuring compliance with relevant legal and regulatory requirements.

To be successful, you will need to have/be:

  • NVQ Level 5 or equivalent. However, you will have the opportunity to work towards the Level 5 diploma.
  • Proven experience in care management, such as Registered Manager, Care Manager, Home Manager or Deputy Manager.
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of compliance and legislative requirements of the care regulations.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
  • Able to demonstrate achievement of business growth targets
  • A genuine dedication to delivering high-quality, person-centred care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with residents, families, staff and care professionals.
  • Ability to develop and implement care plans based on individual needs.
