About the Role

As a Residential Childcare Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting children and young people to grow, develop, and achieve their full potential. You’ll work as part of a caring and professional team to create a safe, supportive, and empowering home environment.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Providing high-quality care and emotional support to children and young people.
  • Promoting positive relationships, personal growth, and independence.
  • Implementing care plans, behavioural strategies, and safeguarding procedures.
  • Encouraging participation in education, hobbies, and community activities.
  • Maintaining accurate records and contributing to team meetings and care reviews.

We’re looking for someone who is compassionate, resilient, and dedicated to improving the lives of young people.

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • At least 1 years’ experience** working in a similar residential childcare setting.
  • Willing to work towards a Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People’s Workforce** (or equivalent qualification).
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
  • A genuine passion for supporting children and helping them thrive.
