Senior Software Developer Location: Remote (UK) Working hours: Monday - Friday, 37.5 hrs per week Key Responsibilities - Contribute to sprint activities including planning, estimation, and retrospectives - Work with the Software Development Manager to understand requirements and break them into technical tasks - Support the architectural design of new features that integrate with existing services - Take ownership of new workstreams from requirements through to delivery - Mentor team members and pair program when needed - Handle triage and support requests independently through to resolution - Maintain high development standards by following established patterns and best practices - Develop clean, responsive, accessible code aligned with usability principles and WCAG 2.0 - Optimise Continuous Integration pipelines with strong test coverage and automated deployments - Stay current with emerging technologies, coding standards, and industry trends - Contribute to code quality, documentation practices, and help maintain them across the team
