Role Overview

[Employer hidden], a global leader in textile innovation based in Burnley, is seeking a Quality & Compliance Manager to join our Technical team. You will lead the delivery and development of quality assurance, product compliance and regulatory governance, supporting a diverse portfolio of contract textiles supplied to UK and international markets. Working closely with the Head of Technical, you will play a key role in ensuring current compliance requirements are met while also providing forward-looking insight and recommendations to support future business needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing and improving ISO 9001, with support for ISO 14001
  • Overseeing product compliance, testing and flame retardancy requirements
  • Monitoring and advising on current and emerging regulatory requirements
  • Implementing and improving quality, compliance and governance processes
  • Leading supplier quality assurance, audits and corrective/preventative actions
  • Applying strong textile fault-finding expertise and leading quality investigations
  • Working closely with internal teams and external test houses

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Experience in quality, compliance or technical textiles
  • Strong working knowledge of ISO systems and textile testing procedures
  • Confident communicating technical quality issues with suppliers and colleagues
  • Detail-driven, proactive and commercially aware
  • Motivated to take ownership and develop within a management role
