FULL DESCRIPTION
Our client, a fully integrated energy company, is looking to hire an experienced Crude Derivatives Trader, to focus on the North Sea market. You will be part of a dynamic and well established trading team in London working collaboratively to maximise both the paper and physical BFOET activity.
Main responsibilities:
- Build and maintain a profitable derivatives trading portfolio
- Collaborate with paper trading colleagues to process refinery hedging requirements as well as third-party physical trading demands
- Manage market exposures through various derivative instruments
- Identify new trading opportunities and develop strategies
- Work closely with the wider trading team to maximise earnings for the crude desk
Experience Required:
- Prior experience in oil derivatives trading - ideally North Sea crude
- Strong understanding of physical and paper oil markets
- Proven ability to develop trading strategies and manage exposures
- Strong track record of career progression in a trading environment
