You’ll play a central role in developing, enhancing and supporting business-critical systems focussed on pensions administration data and processes.

You’ll play a central role in developing, enhancing and supporting business-critical systems focussed on pensions administration data and processes. In this role, you will: • Develop, configure and support core software systems • Analyse and manipulate complex pensions data using SQL Server • Translate detailed pensions and regulatory requirements into effective IT solutions • Collaborate with business analysts and operational pensions teams • Support ongoing systems improvements in a highly regulated environment This role is ideal for someone who understands how pensions data behaves: contributions, calculations, payroll interfaces, regulatory reporting and can confidently build solutions around it. Key Responsibilities • Writing and optimising Microsoft SQL queries, stored procedures and views using best practices • Performing complex data analysis and large-scale data manipulation within pensions systems • Mapping and transforming pensions data feeds • Developing data conversion routines for new client implementations • Supporting calculations, workflows, reporting and document production within pensions systems • Maintaining and enhancing core administration systems (database updates, extracts, reporting and issue resolution) • Ensuring all developments meet regulatory, security and compliance standards • Managing testing processes and structured releases into live environments • Working closely with developers and operational teams to ensure solutions are fit for purpose You’ll become a subject matter contributor in pensions-related system development, helping ensure accuracy, auditability and performance.
