Care Support Assistant
To provide high-quality, compassionate care and support to individuals in their own homes who require assistance due to age, illness, disability, or other reasons. The role focuses on promoting the independence, dignity, and well-being of service users in line with their personal care plans.
Job Purpose
To provide high-quality, compassionate care and support to individuals in their own homes who require assistance due to age, illness, disability, or other reasons. The role focuses on promoting the independence, dignity, and well-being of service users in line with their personal care plans. The Care Support Assistant helps individuals maintain their quality of life through personal care, emotional support, companionship, and enabling their engagement with daily living activities. All care must be delivered in a manner that aligns with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) guidelines, Skills for Care best practices, and relevant legislation such as the Health and Social Care Act.

Follow all infection prevention and control policies to minimise the risk of spreading infections, complying with The Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014.

This position is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. An enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check is required.
