Registered Manager

[Employer hidden] is looking to recruit an exceptional Registered Manager passionate about working with individuals with severe and enduring mental health diagnoses. The successful candidate will work in our recovery home at Orchard House, based in Erdington, Birmingham.

You will be responsible for day-to-day operational management and delivering high-quality mental health services to residents with severe and enduring mental health needs on their recovery journey. You will be responsible for managing staff, the clinical quality, and the delivery of consistently high standards. You will oversee the unit’s governance through clinical audit and offer frontline clinical leadership alongside active contribution as a senior management team member. You will be pivotal in the provision of effective leadership in ensuring positive outcomes for the service and residents. You will promote recovery principles to improve quality of life and achieve maximum independence with each resident.

You will work with residents delivering person-centered care, working with individuals towards community integration and balancing safety and therapeutic risk-taking.

We are looking for a dynamic individual with a genuine passion for working with people with severe and enduring mental health diagnoses and a similar passion for supporting staff to deliver an exceptional service. You must be able to work core hours, predominantly 09:00-17:00, with a usual working week of Monday-Friday whilst taking part in the on-call duty management rota.

In order to apply for the post of Registered Manager, you will have a minimum of 12 months of experience in a leadership role. Ideally, you will be able to supply evidence of management training and development, although this can and will be provided. Our goal is to support and develop the chosen individual to become a CQC Registered Manager.
